Uniquely located in the premier marina on Lake Superior, Barker’s Island Yacht Club promotes participation and enjoyment of boating through group and family sail racing, cruising and other activities related to boating. The practice of good sportsmanship is upheld in all events and activities, promoting the science of seamanship and navigation while fostering camaraderie. The racing is uncomplicated and welcoming of all sailors regardless of experience and skill level and all boats, whether equipped for cruising or racing, and the gatherings after the race take place in the perfect setting around our Barker’s Island Clubhouse.
